Firstly, lets be clear, we are expert WordPress Developers.  However, we don’t buy off the shelf WordPress templates or generally build WordPress websites from the ground up. Our goal is to produce world class websites that stand out from your competition, aid and facilitate the sales process, and we don’t believe you can truly achieve this goal using off the shelf Content Management Systems.  However, we do have the knowledge and skills in-house to build WordPress websites if our clients insist, require a full content management system, have a specific budget and so on.  It must be noted that we do incorporate WordPress Blogs into all our clients’ websites, so we are expert WordPress Developers in our own right.  So, why the negativity towards full WordPress websites?

• The websites are very ‘scroll’ heavy as in, the user usually has scroll down the page and the primary above the fold sales message is lost
• The designs are very common and the photos used tend to be commonly used online
• Website download speeds can be impacted by Plugins (keep the number of WordPress plugins to a minimum if possible)
• WordPress and Plugins in general are susceptible to Malware and updates can easily bring down a site if not properly tested for vulnerabilities.  Ensuring your website is secure is in effect out of your hands
• Many WordPress websites do not have keyword density incorporated into the homepage.
